When traveling on a slope, keep the following points in
mind.

when ascending a slope, while in“REVERSE” mode
when descending.

• Operate the empty machine in “REVERSE” mode
when ascending a slope, while in “FORWARD” mode
when descending.
Empty machine operation:
E) Ascend in REVERSE mode
F) Descend in FORWARD mode
• When desending a slope, set the gear to the “Low” to
obtain engine-brake effect.

Do not go up or down a 15°(loaded)/20°(unloaded) or
steeper hill. Otherwise, the machine may skid sideways
or turn on its side. If the ground is uneven or soft, limit
the slope below 10°
